St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School is a Catholic co-educational school for students from Prep to Year Six. It was established in 1935 by the Sisters of Mercy and is part of the Rockhampton Diocese of Catholic Education.

Our Motto – In Christ We Grow – reflects the central theme of Catholic education. Our aim is to nurture students in a caring environment, encouraging them to strive for their personal best and teaching them values and skills to become life-long learners.

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
The Way of the Cross was enacted by our students today. It was prayerful and reverent. The students showed much respect in listening and watching in complete silence. Mrs Griffin would like to thank the teachers for preparing their classes so well. A beautiful experience for us all.
