LIBRARY
St Francis Xavier School Library has a wide range of junior fiction, fiction and non-fiction books which will be available for your child to borrow on a weekly basis. Reference books are also available for use at school.
Children are required to have a waterproof library bag/satchel, which has a drawstring or zip fastener. Waterproof satchels are available from the school.
Children who do not have a library bag will not be permitted to borrow.
Scholastic Bookclub is also available for students to purchase books to grow their own library at home. Bookclub catalogues are handed out to students 6 times a year. Parents have the option to pay cash through the library or order through the loop prior to the closing date (this is usually about a week after catalogues have been distributed to students). All books ordered will be delivered to the school and distributed to the students. Please note, purchases can be made after the closing date. However, these orders will need to be made on-line and will incur a postage fee, as the goods will be delivered to your allocated address.
