HOMEWORK
Homework is an integral part of learning. Its success requires a partnership between students, teachers and parents.
IPads are only to be used for specific research tasks as well as communication with teachers. IPads are not to be used for the fundamentals e.g. spelling and maths mental practice.
- Students will be expected to complete formal homework within the set period.
- Teachers will set homework that is relevant, promotes fluency in the fundamentals, supports classroom learning and respects family life and circumstances. Teachers will assess homework and provide feedback to students.
- Parents will provide the support and opportunity for homework to be completed and consult with teachers should the need arise.
