Our Staff
St Francis Xavier Catholic School has a staff of fifty personnel in full and part time positions. The leadership team consists of:
Our Parish Priest, Father Matthias Ogwo, who is supported in his ministries by Fr Anthony Nguyen, works closely with the school to provide pastoral and spiritual support in liturgies and Catholic education.
The school office is administered by a Secretary and Finance Officer. Most classes are staffed by teachers in a full time capacity. Some classes are managed by teachers in a job share position. Students also enjoy lessons provided by a Drama Specialist, Music Specialist, Physical Education Specialists.
The school is privileged to have a well-equipped Learning Support department. Brendan Clews (Learning Support Teacher) heads a team of part-time Teacher Assistants, who work closely with classroom teachers to cater for a wide range of individual needs. Alta Pienaar, supports Brendan as the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and by co-ordinating specialised withdrawn support groups.
The school community is supported by a Technology Coordinator, a Library Coordinator, and a part-time Student Counsellor.
A groundsman and cleaning staff are responsible for the ancillary services.
